THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING OUR CHARITY.
Donations
Every year we need to raise approximately £37,000 from donations and grant funding in orderto provide our services. We receive no statutory funding. Donations and grants ensure our events and activities are not too expensive for our members, most of whom are not in employment or are on low wages.
If you would like to contribute to our work please contact us for our bank details, or text HEAR to 70560 to donate £10.
If you are a taxpayer; please consider gift aiding your donation as we are registered with HMRC and can then claim your tax back on top of whatever you donate.
Grants
In November 2024 we were awarded £9,333 from Peoples Postcode Lottery
In 2024 we were awarded £4,000 per annum (for 3 years) from the Garfield Weston Foundation and £1000 from Valero towards our trips and event costs.
In May 2023 we were awarded £10,000 from the National Lottery Community Fund Awards for All. This is for our LEAH (Listening Ears and Hands) project. It will allow us to tailor support for people through home visits, buddying, and opportunities to meet face to face to chat.
In December 2023 we received £5,000 funding from the Foyle Foundation
In January 2023 we received £2,500 from South Hook LNG Community Fund to help us continue our home visit service providing hearing aid repairs and support to those unable to get to audiology. In 2022-23 we also received £4,000 from the Foyle Foundation, £1,100 from the Barchester's Charitable Foundation, £3,000 from the Garfield Weston Foundation and £3,000 from the Yapp Foundation.
We are again indebted to the Millenium Stadium Charitable Trust who provided grant funding towards our trips and events. £2,500 was received in June 2023 and enabled us to undertake our very popular trips to Brecon Railway, Castell Coch, and the interpreted performance of Beauty and the Beast.
