Every year we need to raise approximately £4,000 from donations to supplement our grant funding. If you are able to help us, in any way, we would love to hear from you. As a charity we rely on the donations and grants we receive to ensure our events and activities are not too expensive for our members. Many of our members are not in employment or are on low wages. If you would like to contribute to our work; please send a cheque made payable to "Sign and Share Club" using the contact address on our Contact page. If you are a taxpayer; please consider gift aiding your donation as we are registered with HMRC and can then claim your tax back on top of whatever you donate.
This financial year we have been awarded £2,500 from the Millenium Stadium Charitable Trust towards the cost of trips and Tesco Bags of Help donated £1,000 towards a one-off social event, that will happen in March 2022. We are also grateful for £500 from Milford Haven Port Authority towards replacing a laptop. We would like to thank everyone for their support.
We have also been awarded grant funding for 5 years from May 2018 - April 2023 from the National Lottery Community Fund to setup new hard of hearing clubs undertake home visits, support local businesses to enable them to be more accessible to deaf and hard of hearing people, and ro organise our trips. We now have a team of Deaf Community - Support Workers who cover the county to provide these services. We are very grateful for this financial support.
