AGM & Talk by Sarah Smith (Deaf entreprenuer) - 1st June
12-3pm.

Johnston Institute, Church Road, Johnston, Pembrokeshire

At our AGM Sarah Hopwood-Smith, director of Sarona Training, will give a talk on her career as a Deaf person living in South Wales.  

 After a buffet lunch the AGM will be followed by a talk from Sarah Hopwood-Smith and discussion about how D/deaf people interact with local businesses 


2017 events included: Bowling at Pheonix Bowls in January, a Valentine Craft event in February, a trip to Dinefwr Park in March, a karate demonstration in April, Carew Castle in May, the AGM in June, Caldey Island, a meal at Wetherspoons in August, a family event at Heatherton in September, a visit to Carew Mill in October, a craft and bingo session in November and Christmas dinner at the Bristol Trader.  During 2017 we also took part in a project called Moving Stories enabling members to try out art techniques.  To see more about this go to Moving Stories Art and Wellbeing Project website
